The .edu.ng Second-Level Domain (SLD) is exclusively reserved for accredited tertiary academic institutions approved by recognized authorities such as the Nigerian University Commission (NUC), National Board for Technical Education (NBTE), NCCE, and other constitutionally acknowledged bodies of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. All registrations under the .edu.ng SLD will occur at the Third-Level Domain (3LD). Various departments or entities within the qualifying institution may then be established as subdomains rather than full domains.
